Getting your first orders
In this article
Short answer: orders come mostly from buyers searching the Services page, so you need one live, well-described service in a narrow specialty. Joining is free, Kaasb takes 10% only from completed orders, and you do not need money to start.
Five steps to start
- Press "Start selling" and finish the four setup steps (section 2). Skipping them lowers buyers' trust.
- Publish one service: a title that says what the buyer gets, one to three packages from 5,000 IQD, and real examples of your work as images (section 3).
- Wait for approval (section 11). Meanwhile, complete your profile and portfolio.
- Reply to every message within hours, and share the link to your service on your own social media (this is allowed).
- Open "Find projects" every day and send a tailored proposal on each project that fits you (section 4).
If no orders come yet
- Your service is still in review or paused, so visitors cannot see it.
- The specialty is too broad: "CV design" is ordered more than "design".
- The images are weak or the description is short.
- Replies take too long.
- Kaasb currently has more sellers than posted projects, so a first order can take time.
- Promotion (5,000 IQD) raises visibility; it does not guarantee orders.
Add your payout account before your first order completes
You can publish without one, but you cannot be paid without it (section 8, or section 13 if you have no Qi Card or Zain Cash).
Never
Do not put contact details in your listing or chat, and never fake orders, favourites or reviews: it can cost you the account.
