Creating a great service

In this article

Open My services and create a service. The form has steps named "Overview", "Pricing", "Review" and "Add-ons". The last button is "Submit for Review".

The pieces

Part Rule
Title 10 to 100 characters. Start with what the buyer gets: "I will design a professional logo with three concepts". Two of your own services cannot share a title.
Description At least 120 characters (up to 5,000). Say exactly what you deliver, in what format, how fast, and what you need from the buyer to start. A counter shows how far you are.
Category / Subcategory Pick the category that fits. Choose a subcategory if one fits; if none does, leave it empty. There is no "Other".
Tags Up to 5 keywords that buyers would search for. Only related ones.
Images 1 to 5. Each at least 712 by 430 px, JPG, PNG or WebP, under 10 MB. The first is your cover. Use real examples of your work. The same picture twice is refused.
Packages 1 to 3: "Basic" (required), "Standard", "Premium". Each has a name, a description of at least 20 characters (say what is inside in numbers: how many items, pages, words), a price (from 5,000 IQD), delivery days (1 to 365), and revisions (a number, or -1 for unlimited). Up to 10 feature lines.
Add-ons Up to 6 optional extras buyers can switch on: title in Arabic and English, price (from 5,000 IQD), and up to 60 extra days. Add them in the Add-ons step or later from the edit page.
Buyer questions Up to 10 questions the buyer answers after paying ("What do you need from the buyer to start?"). Each is a written answer or a file upload, and you can mark it "Answer required". Ask for everything you need.
FAQ Up to 8 questions and answers on your listing.
Language Write in Arabic, Kurdish or English. A Kurdish listing is never sent back just because of its language.

Practical tips:

  • Be narrow. "CV design" gets ordered more than "design".
  • Be honest about scope and time. Your delivery clock is a promise.
  • Price warnings are only warnings. If your price is far below or above what is typical in the category, Kaasb shows a hint and still lets you submit. The hard floor is 5,000 IQD.
  • Your service can have no payout account behind it: you can publish first and add a payout account later (see section 8). You do need one before you can be paid.

What is refused automatically at "Submit for Review"

Some mistakes are caught immediately, so you do not wait hours to be told:

  • A phone number, email, link or social handle in the title, description, tags, packages, FAQ or buyer questions.
  • Random-letter padding that only pushes the text past the length minimum.
  • The same image twice.
  • A description under 120 characters, or a package under 20.

What reviewers reject or send back, and why

Every new service is read by a person. Kaasb rejects or returns listings for reasons like these:

  • Contact details or paying outside Kaasb, in text or inside images or a profile photo. Escrow cannot protect off-platform deals.
  • Not allowed by Iraqi law or the Acceptable Use Policy: adult content, violence or hate, weapons and controlled goods, counterfeits, malware and hacking, misleading medical, legal or financial advice, other people's personal data.
  • Academic cheating services (writing an exam or thesis for a student to submit as their own). Proofreading, formatting and typing support is fine.
  • Selling followers, likes, views or comments.
  • Physical goods or work. Kaasb is for digital services; a physical part of a service is not accepted.
  • Copied content or images (stock photos, other sellers' work), or a duplicate of another listing, including your own.
  • Misleading claims or credentials.
  • Unclear listings: a vague title like "anything", missing scope or delivery format, packages that do not match the description, unrealistic delivery time, blurry or low-resolution images, poor spelling.
  • Calls: Kaasb does not support voice or video calls as part of a service; keep it to chat and delivery.
  • Low-effort or spam listings.

How review works and how long it takes

  1. Press "Submit for Review". The status becomes "In review".
  2. A person reads it, in the order received. Most are decided within a day, sometimes two when the queue is busy. You get a notification and an email. Sending it again does not speed it up.
  3. The outcome:
    • Approved: the status becomes "Live" and buyers can order.
    • Edits needed ("Action needed: edits"): the note says exactly what to change. Make the edits and resubmit. A resubmission identical to the version that was returned is refused. Kaasb can ask for edits up to three times on the same listing; the third is marked final.
    • Rejected (final): it cannot be edited or republished. You can archive it and create a new service that follows the reason.
  4. You have 14 days to answer an edit request. You get reminders on the way. If nothing is resubmitted by day 14, the service is archived ("Archived, edits overdue"), and you can still make the edits and resubmit.

Changing a live service

Edits to the title, description, category, packages (including price, delivery time and revisions), buyer questions or new images go back to review. Your service stays live during the review, and buyers keep seeing and ordering the approved version. If the reviewer asks for changes to your edit, the live service is untouched; you get a reminder after 3 days, and the edit is withdrawn after 30 days without a resubmission. Press "Discard changes" to return to the live version. Tags and FAQ edits go live without review.

Limits (so one seller cannot flood the catalog)

Typical limits by seller level (New Seller, Level 1, Level 2, Top Rated):

Limit New L1 L2 Top
Services you can hold 7 10 20 30
Waiting in review at once 2 3 5 no limit
In one subcategory 2 3 5 5
Sent for review per 24 hours 3 5 5 5

Your own usage ("4 of 7") shows where you create services. A New Seller also takes at most 5 open paid orders at a time; deliver some and new orders open up again.

Pause, archive, delete

  • "Pause" hides a live service until you resume it. A paused service still counts toward your limits.
  • Archive removes it from your list and from buyers, frees its slot, and keeps its orders and reviews. You can restore it as a draft.
  • You cannot delete a service that has open orders; finish them first.
