Getting paid

In this article

Set up your payout account

You can publish and take orders without one, but you cannot be paid without it. Open "Earnings & payments", then "Set up payout account" (or "+ Set up payout account").

Qi Card ("Where should we send your QiCard earnings?", choose one):

  • SuperQi wallet (by phone number): we transfer to the SuperQi wallet registered to your phone. No account number needed.
  • QiCard (Mastercard) by account number: the 10 or 12 digit account number printed on the card (front or back) and shown in the app. Not the 16-digit Mastercard number. A Rafidain Bank Mastercard added in SuperQi works too.
  • The phone number is needed either way.

Zain Cash: your wallet phone number.

For each account also enter "Account holder name (as registered)" and answer "Who holds this account": the account must be yours or a close family member's (parent, spouse, sibling, child or other relative) with their consent. Never a friend or anyone else. The holder name should match your legal name, or the relative you declare.

Safety checks you should expect:

  • Changing payout details needs a confirmation link emailed to you (valid 24 hours), and withdrawals to the new details open 48 hours after you confirm. You can ask for up to 5 changes a day.
  • You cannot change details while a withdrawal is being processed.

When your money becomes available

Your balance shows "Available to withdraw", "Pending withdrawal" and "Total earned".

  • Paid by Zain Cash wallet: available as soon as it is released.
  • Paid by card (through Qi Card, including a Visa or Mastercard paid on its page): shown as "Clearing (paid by card)" for 7 days after release, and the page tells you the date it becomes available. Reason: card buyers can ask their bank to reverse a payment for months, and Kaasb holds the card payment for a short time to protect sellers and buyers alike.

Withdrawing

  1. Press "Withdraw", enter the amount or press "Withdraw all".
  2. The minimum is 10,000 IQD. You need a verified email and a complete payout account.
  3. Choose "To payout account" and press "Confirm withdrawal".
  4. A Kaasb admin sends the transfer by hand, usually within 5 business days of your request. Large payouts need approval from two admins, which can take a little longer.
  5. When it is sent, your Payments history shows the last 4 digits of the receiving account and the transfer reference, so you can match it against your own statement. There is no withdrawal fee.

If a payout is held (for example a dispute is pending, fraud is suspected, or identity checks are incomplete), support will tell you why.

Chargebacks, in plain words

On a card payment, the buyer's bank can reverse the charge at the cardholder's request (a chargeback), outside Kaasb. If it happens: the escrow cannot be released for that amount, and if the whole amount is reversed, the order is cancelled and both sides are told. Kaasb may deduct the reversed amount from your balance (including money still clearing) or may carry the loss itself, for example when you were not at fault. If that leaves your balance below zero, Kaasb recovers it only from your later earnings, charges no interest, and may close the matter if it cannot be recovered. You are notified with the reason, and you can send evidence through support so Kaasb can contest the chargeback. If the bank returns the money, it is credited back to you. This is why the clearing period exists, and why buyers are asked to talk to Kaasb before going to their bank.
