How Kaasb works for sellers

In this article

The money, step by step

  1. A buyer orders your service or accepts your offer and pays. The money goes to Kaasb, not to you, and sits in escrow.
  2. You see the order as paid, so you can start without worrying whether the buyer will pay.
  3. You deliver. The buyer accepts, asks for a revision, or does nothing.
  4. When the buyer presses "Accept" (confirmed with "Yes, accept delivery"), the payment is released to your balance on the spot. If the buyer says nothing, a service order completes by itself 3 days after you deliver. A project milestone you submit is approved automatically after 10 days.
  5. You request a withdrawal, and a Kaasb admin sends the money to your payout account, usually within 5 business days.

If something goes wrong, the money stays frozen in escrow until Kaasb decides. It never goes to either side by accident.

The fee

  • Kaasb keeps 10% of each completed order. You keep 90%.
  • Example: a 50,000 IQD order pays you 45,000 IQD. The buyer paid exactly 50,000 IQD and nothing extra.
  • The fee is taken only on completed orders. No fee on cancelled or refunded ones.
  • Tips from buyers carry the same 10% fee if sent on or after 14 November 2026. Tips sent before that date are fee-free.
  • Joining, browsing, publishing services and sending proposals are free.

Prices and currency

Everything is in Iraqi dinars (IQD). The lowest price anywhere on Kaasb is 5,000 IQD (a package, an add-on, a proposal, a milestone, a custom offer, a tip). Kaasb does not convert to dollars.

Two ways to earn

Services Projects
What it is You publish packages; buyers order them A buyer posts a job; you send a proposal with your price
Price Fixed in your packages You propose it
Payment Once, upfront, held in escrow Per milestone, each funded before you start it
Best for Work you can describe and repeat (a logo, a CV, a translation) One-off jobs that need a quote

Most orders come from buyers searching the Services page, so a published service is the foundation. Projects add to it, and there are currently more sellers than projects, so a first order can take time.
