Delete your data on Kaasb

The fastest path. Sign in at kaasb.com/auth/login, then:

Most self-serve deletions are immediate. Some content (e.g. a paused service, a project that already has proposals) requires the active engagement to close first.

Some data isn't directly editable from the dashboard. For these, email privacy@kaasb.com with the subject "Data deletion request" and describe exactly what you want removed:

• A file or attachment you uploaded that you can't locate via the dashboard
• An old service or project that the dashboard delete control rejects (e.g. has historical orders)
• Anything else that the dashboard does not surface a delete control for

What we cannot delete on request, even by email:Messages — they may be needed as evidence in disputes. If a message violates the Acceptable Use Policy, use the in-conversation Report button instead and we will review.Reviews you wrote — kept on the recipient's profile because they are part of that user's reputation; partial-deletion does not anonymize them. Full anonymization is available only via full account deletion.Audit and login-history records — these are platform records (kept for fraud investigation and regulatory compliance), not user records.

We may ask one identity-verification question before processing. We respond within 30 days with confirmation or, if the request is refused (e.g. a retained financial record), the legal basis for keeping it.

The following data is retained even on a partial-deletion request, with the underlying reason:

• Financial transactions (orders paid, escrow movements, refunds, payouts) — retained 10 years per Iraqi commercial-record law and tax compliance.
• Reviews you wrote about other users — kept on the recipient's profile because they are part of that user's reputation. Reviews are not anonymizable on partial-deletion request — that protection is reserved for the full-account-deletion flow, where your reviewer name is replaced with "Deleted user" across the platform. Individual reviews can still be removed if they violate the Acceptable Use Policy (use Report on the review).
• Reviews other users wrote about you — these are not your data; they are the reviewer's expression of opinion. Removable only if they violate Acceptable Use.
• Dispute records where you were a party — retained to document administrative decisions, with personal identifiers redactable on request.
• Aggregated, anonymous statistics — your prior contribution remains in the totals because it is no longer attributable to you.

This retention is consistent with Iraqi Civil Code, Iraqi commercial-record requirements, and the data-protection principle of legitimate interests (protection of other users' reputation rights and the platform's ability to demonstrate past compliance). If you want every trace of yourself gone (subject to financial-record retention), use full account deletion instead.

• Method A (in-app): immediate — most actions take effect in real time.
• Method B (email): within 30 days of receiving sufficient identity verification.
• Backup retention: our nightly database backups may include a snapshot of the deleted data for up to 30 days. These backups are encrypted, access-controlled, and never used for new processing — only disaster recovery.

Before deleting anything, you can download a complete JSON copy of all personal data Kaasb holds about you. Sign in, then go to Dashboard → Settings → Export My Data. The export includes profile, posted projects, proposals, contracts, messages, reviews, and transactions. Generated on demand.
